Kerith changes its name to RIZM - and focuses on energy flexibility

The Münster-based start-up is already used by over 10% of DAX 40 companies - so far as Kerith. Now the company is not only developing its brand further.

Weather-dependent producers make the energy markets much more volatile and complex.

Up to now, we have primarily supported companies in planning structural changes in the energy infrastructure and converting energy systems.

Our customers have increasingly implemented these investments and now have to operate these energy systems more flexibly: to the rhythm of sun, wind and production.
Customers can now use their digital twin for additional functions.

"We have already been working with our customers for a year to optimize the live operation of energy systems and consumers. The test phase has now been successfully completed and we are taking the step towards real-time optimization."
Elias Küpper, CEO @RIZM

Our software uses AI and algorithms to help chemical companies use existing energy flexibility to purchase more energy when it is green and cheap. With our AI support, the industry reduces energy costs within a few weeks of implementation. The software intelligently identifies the optimal operation of its own power plants, sends signals to production planning and supports energy trade and risk management.

With our Energy-System Designer, the most economically attractive way can still be found to build up more flexibility, transform the plants structurally and achieve climate targets.

We were supported in our rebranding by the agency Rocket & Wink. Here, our partner Rocket & Wink explains what the new brand means: https://www.rocketandwink.com/work/46246/rizm-markenentwicklung
